But the Dalmatian should not be left alone for a long period as things can get worse in such situations.

Temperament

This breed is very much socialized and loves human interaction to a great level. The Dalmatian is a great companion and very sensitive by nature. They love to stay with their family and be a part of it. They should not be left isolated for a long time other they can become destructive. Early socialization and training is required. If training is not provided at the proper time then this breed may become very timid. Harsh training systems are not recommended. Training must be done with consistency, care, firmness and fairness.

Health

The most strange part is that many dalmations are deaf from birth. They should be tested in childhood only. If they are deaf then proper treatment should be provided. Deaf puppies are very difficult to manage as they may behave in an aggressive manner. They may also be affected by allergies, unary problems etc. Their uric acid levels may get high.
